The REAL DEAL !!

I've been a HUGE supporter of Andy Murray since he first came to the public eye after winning the US Junior Open in September 2004.

I'm also a great believer in giving praise where praise is due but unfortunately the 'tall poppy' syndrome seems to still be prevalent in this country and in my opinion Andy still receives way too much criticism.

Why?
Because he doesn't smile?
Because he's a bit grumpy sometimes?
Because he ' plays sport to win?'

How about the fact that he doesn't drink alcohol, he trains furiously when he's not playing matches? That he is family orientated and dedicated to his sport?

Well, I COULD go on and on in his defense, but I won't !!

However, although he is nothing to do with the subject of this website, which is North Wales Schools, because of my Scottish heritage, I will add articles in this section from time to time.
