 After
school I went on to art school and studied graphic design and worked for
ten years before giving it up and returning to art school to study ceramics,
that was 15 years ago. Within two months of graduating I was invited to
be in charge of the ceramics department at the University of Wales in
Aberystwyth where I worked part time for three years before giving it
up to work solely as a freelance artist. That's how I'm now in mid Wales.
Recently I have been running the art and design department of a small
college in the area, designing stage sets for touring theatre and main
stage and being visiting professor at the Academy of Applied Art in Budapest.
